Nine year old David L. Keen son of Mr and Mrs L H Keen of 419 Milwood Ave was declared winner of the Independence Day slogan contest by Conrad Hoover post 21 American Legion. Judges Hugh Henry Ralph Larson and Ray Garrabrandt announced the result. Keen will receive a bicycle at the July 5 children's show.
