Independence Day Bank Closings Announced for July 4
Notices warn that Independence Day on Thursday July 4 is a legal holiday and several banks will be closed. Payments maturing on that date are to be settled Friday July 5, with cashiers including SLOAT, HARDY, YOST, SUMMERS, and others signing for different banks. Each bank states funds and maturities due on the holiday will be paid the day after.
