Whiskey, car crash ksets horses near Tenth Legion
A Rockingham county sheriff guards 164 quarts of whiskey as a high speed auto struck two horses belonging to David Harrison near Welsh tin shop at Tenth Legion. One horse died and the other was crippled. the car wreck contained many whiskey bottles. A 19 year old Black man George Jennings was jailed. owner of the car is missing. The vehicle was said to have passed through Winchester Tuesday evening.
