Front Royal Raises Water and Sewer Tap Fees to 3500
Front Royal Town Council hiked water and sewer hookups from 1850 to 3500 to fund an 8 million dollar treatment plant and bond debt. The plan sparked protests and a public hearing on the 1978 79 budget with critics arguing high fees will curb growth and shift costs to new residents.
