Trier Will Is Recorded Executor Named in Probate
The will of the late Lewis F Trier died at his home Saturday was admitted to probate in Corporation Court with his son Thomas J Trier of this city named executor. The bond was set at 6000 with no security. Debts are paid first then estate proceeds go to living children, with a life estate retained on property for Trier’s sister Mary V Trier. Quarry Blast Kills Teen and Injures Three at El Paso Cement Yard
A massive blast at a El Paso cement quarry killed 16 year old Stephen Sparks and injured three workers. The dynamite crew, about nine men, had 20,000 pounds of dynamite in place and feared another blast remained in the rock.
