Man Dies After Lumber Camp Fight in Frederick County
In a Sunday night clash at a lumber camp southwest of Winchester, Furman Rickard struck Colonial Coombs with a club. Coombs died from head injuries in Winchester Memorial Hospital. Rickard fled but was captured at his parents' home in Shenandoah County and jailed. he faces first degree murder charges with trial likely after a grand jury session.
