Tonya Sue Boyd of Rt. 6 Stephens City and Jeffery Lynn Young of Rt. 1 Stephens City exchanged vows June 17 at 3 p.m. at St. Pauls On the Hill Church Senseny Road. The Rev. David H. Knight officiated. The bride wore Chantilly lace gown with a Chapel train and carried white carnations and daisies. Attendants included Rhonda Boyd maid of honor and Terri Shull Karen Grim Paula Bowers Pam Moore. Best man was Randy Ritenour. ushers included James Young and others. Reception followed at the church social room. The couple plans to reside in Stephens City after a trip to Ocean City Md. The bride is a Zayres employee. the groom works for Southern States Coop.
Joyce Crum Shull and Boyd J. Hamman were married Sunday June 24 at Bethel Lutheran Church in Albin. The Rev Conrad Christianson officiated. A reception followed at Winchester Country Club. They will reside in Winchester after a West Indies wedding trip. Mrs Hamman is a real estate broker with Ruth C Crum Realty. Hamman Construction Co. partners include his son.
Susan Elizabeth Shokes became Mrs Robert Howard Carr at Christ Episcopal Church Knoxville on June 16 with a candlelight ivory net gown and Alencon lace. The ceremony featured Rev David Knight with a Winchester Country Club reception and a honeymoon to St Thomas. The couple will reside in Knoxville and both hold university degrees and work as speech pathologists in Tennessee school systems.
Mary Catherine Good daughter of Mr and Mrs John P Good Sr of Winchester and Ronald Allen Lee grandson of Mr and Mrs Carl R Lee of Clearbrook were married in Bethel Lutheran Church. Rev Conrad Christianson officiated with Mildred Jones as organist. The bride wore a white piano gown with Alencon lace and a Watteau train while carrying a cascade bouquet of gardenias forget me nots and lilies of the valley. Martha Good of Winchester, sister of the bride, attended.
