Trevillians Man in I-81 Crash In Winchester ICU
Charles Richard Pifer 21 of Trevillians Va. remained in satisfactory condition in Winchester Memorial Hospital ICU after a tire blew on Interstate 81 near Kernstown exit. His car veered into a guard rail and over a 30 to 40 foot bank, landing on its roof. he was ejected from the vehicle as the car was demolished. State Trooper L W Waters reported the details.
