The Rev. Christopher Sydenstrick er, 81, died at Charles Town General Hospital after a two year illness. A retired Methodist Episcopal Church South minister who once served the Jefferson circuit, he lived in Charles Town with his widow Mrs. Elizabeth F. Sydenstricker and had one son and three daughters. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Episcopal Church South with several ministers participating. Interment followed at Edge Hill Cemetery.
