Stabbing Outside Frederick County Court House

Mrs. Evelyn B. Robinson of Brill's Trailer Court was stabbed repeatedly near the Frederick County Court House around 10:30 a.m. Larry Keith Robinson, 26, of Washington Ave., is charged with felonious assault with intent to kill and is held on $50,000 bond. Robinson was taken to Winchester Memorial Hospital for treatment and the extent of injuries was not yet known.

The Supreme Court ruled 6-3 that the Constitution and federal law do not require states to pay for abortions when mothers lives are not endangered. The decision covers Connecticut and Pennsylvania cases, upholding that welfare programs may fund childbirth but need not cover abortions.
