Henderson Offers To Quit Over Subsidy Funding

Washington June 20 Price Administrator Leon Henderson said he would resign if Congress trims the OPS budget or conditions subsidies. He warned that deep cuts would hurt consumers and retailers while subsidy and price control efforts to curb living costs would be undermined.
