Crime Task Force Reactivated in Virginia
The Organized Crime Detection Task Force of the State Crime Commission is reactivated at law enforcement request. Headed by Lewis W. Hurst with Del. A L Philpott, the group aims to keep current information on organized crime, assess law enforcement capacity, and inform lawmakers and the public to counter organized crime and its ties to drugs and horse racing.
