Lt Williams Dies In Pacific Crash

Lieut Neal G Williams 38 an Air Corps operations officer with the Marines was killed in a South Pacific crash. Details were unavailable. His wife Miss Love Allamong and mother in law Mrs C W Allamong of 535 North Loudoun St were notified by telephone. Williams who grew up in Georgia had served in the Marine Corps since age 17 and earned gallantry decorations. He visited Winchester and Norfolk before being ordered to Hawaii and later to the Southwest Pacific theatre.
