Nineteenth Annual Convention at Galilee Disciples Church
The Stonewall District Sunday Schools held their nineteenth annual convention at Galilee Disciples Church on the Welltown Pike. President M S Glaize led devotion, with musical pieces by Charles McVay and performances by Bruce Shade Cecil McVay and others. Key speakers urged Christ centered education and spiritual life. The gathering approved resolutions opposing alcohol and called for broader religious training and attendance. The session adjourned for White Hall in 1929.

Fox Concealed Deals in Pool Under Senate Probe
Witness P J Higgins testified a $322 960 check was made out to him to conceal William Fox's stock dealings in his own pool on the New York Exchange. Investigator Gray showed the check and Higgins said it paid Fox interests in the pool to hide from clerks and the public that Fox was in the pool. The Senate panel also favored extending the stock market investigation through next March 4, trimming expenses from 50 000 to 25 000.
