Grand Jury to Get Forgery Charge Against Paul Miller
Paul Miller of Front Royal is ordered held for grand jury action for forgery. Judge W Erle Edwards also heard three counts of violation of bad check laws and suspended 90 day jail terms upon restitution of 25 dollars to C E Lemley 25 dollars to Grace Brown and 18 75 dollars to R C Carter.

Bad Check Suspect Sentence Suspended
Arthur J. Derflinger of Winchester received suspended sentences totaling 240 days in local court for bad check violations. Judge John Rice imposed a 60 day suspended sentence in police court, and Trial Justice W. Erle Edwards gave two 90 day suspended terms for obtaining money by false pretense. Jail terms were suspended pending restitution of 5 dollars to Milton Luttrell and 11.75 dollars to L. A. Hudson.
