Macy Fires Wild Blaze Forces Evacuation in Herald Square
In New York City a four alarm fire at Macy's on Herald Square injured 14 and claimed one firefighter. About 8,000 shoppers fled as flames spread from the Sporting goods area on the fifth floor. Fire officials said sprinklers caused heavy damage and the cause was not yet known.
