Dorsey reported that federal officials intend to recommend accepting a North Church street site known as the American Legion building and the nearby Clarke Courier building for a new post office. Approval by the fourth assistant postmaster general was expected soon. The Legion site belongs to Lloyd Williams Post and the Courier site to Mrs Lena ane Hughes. both buildings would require occupants to relocate.
