War Vets Club To Stop Here On Way To Orkney
The American War Veterans Club of the District of Columbia plans a motor caravan to Orkney Springs and Shenandoah Caverns on June 26 27. The trip from Washington will pass through Fairfax Middleburg Upperville Winchester Strasburg Woodstock Mount Jackson to Orkney Springs where guests of E L Cockrell hotel president will host the veterans. The Glee Club from National University in Washington accompanies the party with a special ball program at the hotel. Sunday proceeds to Shenandoah Caverns hosted by Mr and Mrs Hunter B Chapman.
