State laws take effect Saturday with tax and game laws

Miss Mary Cecelia Lee Miller daughter of Mrs Miller and the late Dudley L Miller will marry Antrim Almond McKay of Baltimore at 8 this evening in Christ Protestant Episcopal Church. Man charged with shooting wife in Stonewall district
Eugene Ritter a Stonewall district justice of the peace near V arrested on a warrant by Pannett at the instance of his mother in law Mrs Weakley charged with shooting his wife Blanche Ritter with a revolver on June 2. Mrs Ritter testified he shot her twice injuring a finger and arm. Ritter, advised by counsel, declined to testify and was held for the Circuit Court grand jury with bond set at 3000, which had not been posted by late hour.

Buffalo Delegate Dies at Democratic Convention
In St. Louis on June 15 Postmaster W F Kasking of Buffalo, a member of the New York state delegation visiting the Democratic national convention, suffered apoplexy this morning and died.
