Grand Jury Probes Reports Of Kickbacks
A federal grand jury is probing complaints of loan kickbacks involving two Teamsters Pension Fund trustees. The six month investigation was disclosed in court as the judge considered quashing a subpoena for pension fund meeting minutes. The fund lends for hotels hospitals and other projects and the hearing paused for more evidence before a Tuesday deadline.
