Cussler funds hunt for Bonhomme Richard wreck off England
Clive Cussler and a seven member team use sonar, metal detectors, and even psychics to locate the Revolutionary War hero John Paul Jones ship the Bonhomme Richard off Flamborough Head in the North Sea. The search, costing about 140000 so far, focuses on a 9 by 17 mile target area with tides and weather limiting diving windows. If found, artifacts would go to British, U.S., and French museums. the effort funds marine archaeology via the National Underwater Marine Agency.
