Handley High School awarded diplomas to 86 graduates 38 boys and 48 girls with scholastic achievement as the keynote. Garland R. Quarles, Winchester schools superintendent, led the ceremony. 44 students plan college, while nine earned B averages or higher over four years. Awards went to Robbie Robinson and William Wheatley for straight A grades. Carter Kellas received the Winchester Evening Star Leadership Award and a $350 check.
