Orthopedic Clinic Reports 112 Cases in Winchester
Winchester clinic led by District Nurse Assi at Winchester Memorial Hospital processed 112 cases. Dr. R. V. Funsten of University of Virginia Hospital acted as clinician. Seven X rays were recommended during hours. Ten cases referred for hospitalization. Two already admitted for surgery or treatment under the Crippled Children Bureau. One active tuberculosis case found via mass X ray, applying to Blue Ridge Sanatorium with Winchester Tuberculosis Association cooperation. Four family contacts were X-rayed at the local hospital.
