Light vote eyed as six council seats chosen

The biennial election for six Common Council members will be held next Tuesday June 13 from sunrise to sunset. Polls open about 45 hours with sun up at 4 30 a m and sunset at 7 29 p m per the local Almanac. Agricultural Radio Service Starts Soon Nationwide

The Agriculture Department will inaugurate a nationwide radio agricultural service delivering weather crop and market reports to nearly all US radio receivers. W A Wheeler heads the service and reports rebroadcasting via radio telephone to eastern two thirds of the nation, with plans to extend to the Pacific and Rocky Mountain regions using Arlington and Great Lakes stations.
