Parker Says Guest Appearances With Godfrey Wonderful
Tenor Frank Parker says guest spots on Arthur Godfrey's CBS TV show will be wonderful but he seeks more time for his own programs after his contract ends June 30. Parker, 53, has been a Godfrey troupe veteran for seven years and notes CBS expects further irregular appearances while also pursuing other production work. Godfrey reportedly told cast they could seek deals since they won’t be used regularly next season.
