Miami nurse and McCall linked to Cash kidnapping case
Mrs Lily McCall mother of Franklin Pierce McCall 21 is jailed in Miami in connection with the James Bailey Cash Jr kidnapping. FBI says McCall confessed to writing ransom notes and handling money. The body of Cash Jr was found near Princeton as investigators recovered the ransom and detained the suspect.

Methodists Meet In Baltimore For Big Merger
Dr. James H. Straughn president of the General Conference of the Methodist Protestant Church told the Baltimore Conference that Baltimore is the logical place for next year’s unification meeting of the three branches of Methodism. He said the date for next April 26 is not fixed yet but Baltimore’s role in early Methodism supports holding it there.

Reed Finds Horned Toad in Yard in Winchester
Robert Reed of 224 South Braddock Street spotted an unusual horned toad in his front yard. Dr. W. S. Hough of Winchester Research Laboratory described it as a horned toad with two pairs of horns giving a ferocious look. The creature is not native to the area and its appearance is considered a mystery, though similar to toads seen in Texas and other arid Southwest regions.
