Mrs. 8S. B. Mowery of West Virginia Avenue reports a New Hampshire Red hen laid a double egg this morning. She broke the outer shell and found a second perfectly formed egg inside. The outer egg measured seven inches in diameter and ten inches around the ends. Mrs. Mowery keeps about 40 chickens.
