Frederick County Circuit Court saw multiple defendants plead guilty after grand jury indictments. William Smoots faced possession of a still with a $50 fine and 30 days in jail. Robert Adams and Dan Robinson admitted manufacturing ardent spirits and received $5 fines and six months each.
