Computer Betrays Girls When Phone Numbers Sold
New York Attorney General Lefkowitz filed a state court complaint alleging George Zieckas subscribed to computer dating services, compiled lists of 25 girls with their phone numbers, and sold mimeographed copies to bookstores for 50 cents. Stores resold them for a dollar with ads promising easy dates, leading to unwanted calls at night as Mindell described. Lefkowitz seeks an injunction to stop Zieckas from further matchmaking activities.
