Patrick Murphy of Winchester and Waynesboro died at age 78 in Winchester from age related causes. He was born May 12 1846 in Castlebar Mayo Ireland and immigrated to the United States as a youth settling in Winchester fifty five years ago. He worked in the grocery trade and later farmed in Wadesville Clarke County. He is survived by his wife two daughters and five sons. Funeral arrangements expected to be announced.
