Historic Winchester house collapses injuring none
A corner of a three story stone house at 409 S Braddock St in Winchester collapsed at about 7 am. Neighbors said a large crack had been forming and the porch fell onto a parked station wagon. No injuries were reported and only the second floor bathroom and hallway were damaged. The house sits on Lot 17 with a long chain of ownership dating back to 1786 now owned by Russell E Roberts and family.
