Second Colored Man Die in Winchester Car Crash
Thomas H. Byrd of Strasburg Va died Sunday in Frederick Md hospital after a crash on the Berryville Charles Town pike. The other victim was Katherine Plater of Frederick. five colored passengers were in the wreck after leaving a Winchester church entertainment. Byrd, 52, was well known in Winchester and his funeral is set for Thursday in Strasburg.
