Mr and Mrs John Gossard of Stephens City narrowly escaped a wreck when a tractor trailer crashed into their home on Route 11. Three curb line locust trees broke the impact, stopping the 50 ton load and leaving beer and wreckage scattered. The driver, Robert T Beaver, escaped uninjured. no other injuries reported.
