Stage collapse at Miss Universe pageant in Perth
During the Miss Universe contest in Perth an onstage collapse sent eight contestants into a six foot hole. Venezuela’s Maritza Sagalero survived unhurt while Miss Malta Dain Borg Bartolo and Miss Turkey Fusan Tahire Demirtan were hospitalized with concussion and injuries. Sagalero will reign for a year with 18500 dollars in prizes.
