Potomac Edison seeks interim rate hike in Virginia
Potomac Edison files for a 2.1 million interim rate relief with the State Corporation Commission. The move would raise average Virginia electric bills by about six percent starting September 1, increasing a 450 kwh residential bill by 1.33 and a 1,600 kwh all electric bill by 3.35. Executive VP John M. McCardell says the relief is needed to support the SCC granted return and ongoing investment.
