Roanoke AP reports ten finalists chosen for the 13th annual Miss Virginia Pageant. One winner will go on to the Miss America Pageant in Atlantic City in September. Four preliminary finalists were named, two in swimsuit and two in talent. Miss Virginia Beach Kath leen Jane Carson, 19, won Friday night swimsuit and was briefly injured after a fall from theater parking lot edge while entering her car. She returned to her hotel Friday night.
