New Statute Used Against Nine Local Bootleggers
Nine local bootleggers were brought before city and county courts after raids by state, city, and county lawmen. Roy and Mrs. Tripplett, Tony Renner, and Elmer Orndorff pleaded guilty to reselling legal liquor for 25 cents a pint, each fined 100 dollars and costs, one month in jail, and 1000 dollar bond to keep ABC act provisions for a year.
