Daniel H. Anderson a veteran ex Confederate soldier and longtime glove maker of Winchester died at Memorial Hospital after a gradual decline. He helped found Winchester's glove trade, ran a South Loudoun street plant and sold goods by horseback for decades. He served in Eighteenth Virginia Cavalry Imboden's Brigade and is survived by his widow Emma Belle and two sons Arthur and Morgan. Funeral at Braddock Street Methodist Church South Wednesday at four with burial in Mount Hebron Cemetery.
