Man to stand trial for illegal liquor transport
Harry Smith of the western part of the county is to appear before Justice Tavenner in the county magistrate court on a charge of illegal transportation of liquor. Witnesses are summoned as it is alleged he carried 28 pints in his automobile, which reportedly left the road near Gore, spilled liquor, and led him to dispose of bottles in the roadway to avoid capture.
