Miss Mary Elizabeth Ambrose longtime Frederick county resident died at 2 30 this morning at her niece Mrs Edward Campbells Kernstown home after a long illness. She was born in Frederick county 75 years ago and belonged to the Christian and Martha Cook Ambrose family. Her brother John H Ambrose of Middletown survives. A faithful member of the Methodist Episcopal Church South at Kernstown she helped in church work. The funeral will be from Kernstown Church at 3 pm Thursday with Rev F M Richardson of Winchester presiding and burial in Mount Hebrog Cemetery.
