Five die in apartment fire near swap shop in Vienna
A blaze at 817 Maple Ave in Vienna killed Chester Turner Harvey Herndon Joe Frenzell Mrs Elizabeth Worrell and her son Joseph all white. Pair Charged With Mistreating Young Girls
Two Winchester men are charged with taking improper liberties with children. Richard William Westfall 40 of Winchester and Buckhannon West Virginia and Robert Eugene Mowery 22 of Woodland Ave were arrested after a 3:25 a.m. tip to City Police. Westfall was arrested by city officers and Mowery was taken into custody at his home at 11 a.m. The offenses involve three juvenile girls aged 14 and 9. Both men are jailed in Winchester Frederick County awaiting trial.
