43000 Head Of Poultry Sold At Wardensville Auction
In Wardensville West Virginia on Tuesday afternoon the Capon Valley Area Poultry Auction sold 43000 head of poultry from 44000 listed. Auction manager Irvin I Williams said a group of 1000 sold for 26 cents per pound with the rest mostly 26 to 27 cents. Prices were about 1.5 cents higher than last week and demand was described as good. Auctions are held each Tuesday at 1 pm with strong citizen support.
