Dog owner fined and condemned to die in Ricky case
Perry County dog Ricky the German shepherd was ordered killed after Circuit Judge V L Sexton declined to spare the animal. Jim Laing the dog’s owner is free on bond pending appeal as the case attracts national attention. The Supreme Court refused to hear the case and Gov Harrison declined clemency.
