Laughter Rings Out At Camp White Rock For Winchester Scouts

Forty four registered Winchester Girl Scouts arrived at Camp White Rock Capon Bridge on June 30 with enthusiasm for camp life. They greeted peers, learned to set beds, swam in the Cacapon river and met new counselors. Rain paused activities but plans for the White Rock Echo and camp programs continued. Notable instruction came from Wilbert Frye on local flora and from Dorothy Patterson on archery. Cake days are set for July 4 8 and 11 for Cherokee Bicanteau and Pioneer units.
