Car crash injures Winchester men near Chburg
Two Winchester men were badly bruised and one escaped with minor injuries when a car on the road collided with them near Charlottesville. The injured are Andrew Bell secretary of the Chamber of Commerce and A C Oates Loudoun Street dealer. L F Sutton manager of Reymann Memorial Farms Wardensville W Va stayed in Staunton. Bell suffered knee and back ligament strain and shock. Oates had facial cuts and knee injuries. Sutton spent the night in Staunton. The Washington driver, bearing a District of Columbia license, did not offer a clear explanation for driving on the wrong side of the road. The men were treated in Waynesboro then Harrisonburg, returning to Winchester today.
