Dr. William A Bell Winchester physician dies after illness
Dr. William A Bell longtime Winchester physician died at his home after a four week illness from complications of grip and heart trouble. He helped establish Winchester Memorial Hospital and served on its building committee and executive board. He spent most of his life in Winchester and served on the city Common Council representing the first ward. He was born November 10 1850 and educated at Hampden Sydney College and the University of Virginia.
