Seven year old Edouard de Moura Castro dies after choosing to stop oxygen

In Santa Barbara, seven year old Edouard de Moura Castro, son of Brazilian diplomat Dr. Claudio de Moura Castro, asked his mother to turn off the oxygen keeping him alive. He recorded a message of hope about death and reincarnation through Vedanta. He died January 10 after guiding his funeral details.

Remote Control Heating Plan Approved in Virginia

Appalachian Power Co received approval from the State Corporation Commission for an experimental program to remotely control 120 Lynchburg area homes’ electric heating and cooling. Volunteers will get monthly bill credits from $5 to $10. The system uses a Lynchburg FM transmitter and a Roanoke control unit with fail safe equipment claims.
