Joseph Snapp Dies at 93 Former Frederick County Farmer
Joseph M. L. Snapp, retired Frederick County farmer and pioneer fruit grower, died at 10 a.m. at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel G. Miller, 438 East Piccadilly Street. He was born June 27, 1852, in the Fawcett area and had lived eight years with his daughter in Winchester. He was a longtime member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at Opeq uon. his wife Martha A. Richard died in 1929. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by his daughter Mrs. Miller and another daughter Mrs. James Stephenson of Clearbrook.
