Man Denies Forgery Allegations Linked to Convict Camp
Harvey Clark about 35, married, was arrested on a forgery warrant by City Sergeant Barr and H 4 B Shull. Bank allege he forged C H Rinker's name on a $300 note discounted at the Farmers and Merchants National Bank of Winchester. Clark denies the charges and claims mistaken identity. He received three months in jail and posted $1 000 bond to appeal. The alleged act occurred yesterday at Snapp's business. A. L. Carper was fined $54 in police court for an alleged assault on a woman Wednesday night on National avenue.

Five Inch Snow Falls Early Today in Dixie

Two warrants issued today by Chief K H Barber of Washington County Maryland target John Lillis and Raymond Fletcher now jailed here for allegedly assaulting John H Fleagle with intent to rob on November 24 1928.
