At the Repauno nitroglycerin unit in Gibbstown New Jersey two men died and a third was injured when a nitro glycerine explosion wrecked part of the Du Pont Powder Works. The dead were Earl L Harbison 30 of Clayton NJ and Edward M Bundens Jr 31 of Paulsboro NJ. Raymond Hicks of Gibbstown was injured. Police and FBI opened inquiries but gave no sabotage comments.
